Volunteer Experiences

Through my time in Tau Lambda Xi Sorority, I have held the philanthropy chair position for two and a half years. In this time I have led countless philanthropic events. Most notably organizing their annual Zumba Fundraiser for Eating Disorders Nova Scotia, raising over $800 for the Canadian Cancer Society with the Metro Universities Relay for Life, and collecting over 90kgs of food for Feed Nova Scotia with our organizations Trick-or-Eat initiative. Additionally, in my role as Store Sustainability Advisor at Mountain Equipment Company Halifax, I arranged for employees from our store to volunteer at the Easter Seals Dropzone Event in August 2024.
